It's not really a stupid question... I never had normal periods.... Once in awhile id skip a month... When i didn't start my period i wasn't worried... But then i started getting really moody then i was working at a nursing home && went to the kitchen to get some food for a client... Well that made me almost barf... I had to rush out of the room...I took a total of 5 at home tests && they all said negative.. Well then i started geting cravings && all that jazz so my fiance told me we were going the doctor.. Then she told me i was prego... So i would go back && get it checked.. But if they check your blood it should be a more accurate reading...

I just found out I was pregnant after trying for 10yrs. If I were you have your doctor test your blood and not your urine.

tress delays ovulation, so if you have been royally stressed since christmas, that could be the reason. Maybe take another test. Some women do not get conclusive answers.

Ok Stupid Question

Feb 23, 2009 5:51 PM
Alrighty I have a stupid question. My last period was the week before Christmas. Right after Christmas i ended up really really sick and the doctor did a blood test to ensure i wasn't pregnant before putting me on anything. The test came back negative But my sister told me nto to always trust that. Because if it's too early then it could be wrong or that some peoples bodies create the hormone slowly. So i waited till i'd be oh approximately 6 weeks if i were pregnant and i tried a home digital test, it came back negative. I accepted that as the answer. Well here it is almost march and still mother nature has yet to pay a visit. well then i got to thinking that around the time i took the home pregnancy test i was also on an antibiotic, inhaler and a steriod due ot being so sick after christmas. So i didn't know if anything like that could of interfered with the pregnancy test. Cause both my sisters said that even tho those tests came back negative they both insist i still could be. And the one thing i know someone might ask is have i had any symptoms to pregnancy, I have not but with my first child i never had symptoms until my 3rd or 4th month until then i wasn't even nausious. So now i'm sitting here wondering if it could be possible. I'm just curious for otheres opinions..... It be great if i were cause my husband and i wanted a second so that way we'd have one close in age to our lil girl who was born in June
