I would personally take it slow... only cause my oldest developed bad eczema after starting dairy products. I'm not sure if that's what's doing it, but now that he's eating the same stuff I am, it's really hard to cut out all dairy. I know the protein in the milk is really hard for them to digest, but every kid is different. I personally did formula for a few months to wait and see if his system would be a little stronger before milk...but again..my kids have bad skin. I think you're doing the right amounts. sounds about what my 9 month old drinks now, so I'm sure you're right on the money with that one! Do you do water? I didn't at all with my first, but now all my mommy friends are like "you don't give him water?" I have been looking into that and I don't really see anything all that bad with it. I don't know why I was so hesitant... -- Erin -32 Logan - 4 Gray - 2 Due 6-09

My son has just turned 1 & I have recently switched him from formula to milk but since he will not be seeing his Doctor till next week I was wondering how much milk/ dairy he should be having in a day? he is still on the bottle so I am afraid I am overdosing him since he still takes about 4 a day. 3- 4ounces and 1- 6 ounce before bed...? thanks
