My daughter is ten months now and she refused to eat baby food. I talked to her doctor he said to try some table foods and that "bland is better". We can't stop her now! I grill up some plain chicken and cut it up very small and give whatever veggie we are having with dinner. She love green beans and carrots. She also loves cheese and Ritz crackers. For breakfast she has oatmeal with applesauce and Cherrios. -- Timothy Leigh 2 1/2 Cassandra Kathleen 10 months

I personally would not buy any toddler proccessed foods they are expensive and they have additives to make them have a shelf life. My daughter ate cheese, fruit cut into small peices and crackers for protien she ate peanut butter on toast worked for us until we got to the spaghetti stage and pasta and other stuff.

When my son turned one, he really loved (and still does) those cheese sticks or cubes. You could try making a strawberry/banana smoothie w/ some yogurt in it. It's really good and easy to eat w/ a bowl and spoon, although might be a bit messy. Also, I remember making alot of cheese quesadillas and mac n cheese, or they make healthier versions of chicken nuggets now too. Oatmeal was a fav too. Not the regular instant stuff, cause that stuff has like 20 g of sugar in them, the quaker natural oatmeal is really good, you could even mix some baby cereal in w/ it to thicken it up.

Those Gerber Graduates come in a variety of foods and my daughter loved them. Also try cut up chicken and steamed/soft veggies. I was given the okay from my doctor after one year that most foods were a go. Try some of what you are eating in bite sized pieces. Hope this helped.

So my son just turned 1 year old...the last week or so he has been uninterested in his baby food. All he will he eat are cheerios, crackers and whatever we eat. What are some good things to serve him for meals since he is no longer interested in the baby food? -- Benjamin 1 year Due May 14,2007 Born March 27, 2007 23 lbs. 27 in.
