hey, dont be scared. youll make it work. just take real good care of yourself. maye your twins is a way of making up for the other pregnancy you lost? something went wrong then, but souls dont die. they say souls choose who they wish to be born to, so the first baby is just getting a new, better, body...and a friend to share it with! but, i hope you feel better. [i have hyperemesis, so i know the all-day sickness feat.] and hopefully all goes well with you! good luck!

I'm 19 years old, and i'll be 38 weeks pregnant in 2 days! I went from thinking I never wanted kids, to now imagining how I didn't! This has been the most amazing and best experince of my life! There's nothing so beautiful as watching your child grow inside of you! It's hard to believe you can love someone so much without ever meeting them! So far i'm not nervous about the whole labor thing, i'm sure once I go into labor I will be though, especially since i'm going to attemp to have a natural birth like every other girl in my family has. It's so hard waiting for her to get here! I'm just trying to enjoy the last little bit of freedom I have before she gets here! Good luck to all you mothers!

First of all I want to say how sorry I am that you were told that. I too am pregnant and I can understand what you must be going thru. I honestly want to tell you, you dont have to accept that. Those tests are not 100%. Only God or a mistake that doctors make can determine whether your child has down syndrome. I have a friend who was told the same thing and she ended up having a healthy baby boy. Don't let that take the joy out of being prego. Even tho it is alot to handle, it is still worth it. I will keep you in my prayers and please let me know how things go. As long as you did everything you could, there is nothing to fear. Deal with things as they come not before their time, there is no need to stress yourself and your baby!

Hi. Well I am 27 weeks pregnant with my first child, a little girl. I can agree with you about the flipping out and trust me it will only get worse. Im 19 and I still stay with my parents and the things they do upset me so bad. It can be as little as leaving the bread on the counter instead of putting it back in the bread box. They think its hilarious but it really (censor) me off. Being pregnant was not what I thought it was going to be, even though I lucked out and didnt have morning sickness, the indigestion and the sleepless nights really are becoming overwhelming. And lets not even start on the backaches. But I wish everyone the best, rather boy or girl. I look forward to hearing from somebody in my shoes and not from the outside looking in. Hi all, My names Maria and I am a first time mum as well. I am 18 years old and scared as heck. I was not planning on getting pregnant and it was a huge shock to me cause I was on birth control. I kept taking my pills till the end of my cycle and was surprised when my period didn't come. I went in to the doctor for a check up and found out I was 3 weeks pregnant. It was a total shock but I have never been happier. I can wait to be a mum but I am also terrified of the whole experience. Congratulations to all other expectant mothers out there [Edited by: Host_DawnB]

Hello I am 32 and I am having my first baby. I am still in shock I am only 9 weeks and I will be 10 weeks in two days. I do have morning sickness lucky you it just started about two weeks ago. I am very nervous about gaining weight because I am over weight already and have high blood pressure. My Dr. is doing very well with doing test and I am fine with the test because I want to know if I will have a healthy baby. Good luck to you and giving birth and enjoy your blessing.

This is my first baby!! I am 25 and very excited. I have had a perfect pregnancy. No morning sickness, I can eat everything not too many cravings. He is active but I normally am able to get a goodnights sleep. I am 29 weeks almost 30 weeks. Starting to get his room ready and think about labour. I don't like the idea of the epidural so hopefully everything can be done naturally.
