Yeah the only person going to be in the delivery room is my husband.My family lives far away and there is no way i'm having my mil in there telling me i'm pushing wrong.lol.Yeah right.I don't want anyone seeing my parts.The only one that gets to see my vagina is the one who see's it everyday.lol.My husband,thats it.

We have the same problem; but luckily most of our family is out of state. We have explained our wishes and some of them weren't happy, but we are standing firm. We have just explained that they can come visit after the kiddo is born. Good luck with your family.

Explain to them how you feel, and if they care they will honor your requests. Most hospitals ask you who you want in the room while you are delivering, and they keep everyone else out so you can relax. When you go in for your pre-registration you can ask them about their rules regaurding visiters, and make special requests at that time.

Hospital visitors....Help!

Ok, so I am having a problem trying to explain to family members that I don't want them at the hospital while I am in delivery. The thought of having all my assorted family in the waiting room and trying to come into my room stresses me out already, and I'm due in October! How can I explain to them that this time should just be me and the baby's father, not the whole village, so to speak?
