Hey,

I think the new Organic Huggies are. I've been using them and they are so much better than the other brands of huggies just sucks not a lot of diapers in a package and not available yet in boxes.

They could at least have the option of Huggies "original" and Huggies "green" or something like that.

Diapers Made from eco-plastic rather then normal plastic

Hello Everyone,

I think it would be a great idea if huggies started making baby diapers out of eco-plastic instead of regular plastic. I would definitely pay more for eco-plastic diapers that I know will biodegrade rather then regular plastic. Huggies would also be one of the leaders in going green when it comes to diapers. Eco-plastic is 100% compostable and biodegradable, and will disintegrate in compost in 12-24 months, depending on conditions. Primarily made of corn starch (made from non-GMO corn), eco-plastics also consist of Novamont resin and fully biodegradable polymers or polylactic acid. Production of eco-plastic uses less energy and produce two-thirds less greenhouse gasses than the manufacture of regular plastic. I'm due in November and it makes me sad to think of all those plastic diapers that are going to go into the landfill and stay there for generations to come. I think this is a great alternative for moms since most of us don't want to use cloth diapers. What do you think about this? Would you pay more if it helped the environment? Do think this should be at least be an option that you can have when you go & buy diapers?
