I'm due February 22nd and am having a girl! I found out last week when we had the 4d ultrasound done at the perinatal office. This is my first child and I'm excited but also scared to death! I'm finally starting to feel like I'm pregnant after seeing her, the pictures look so real, they are so amazing!
Good luck to all the other February mommies!

I am due on Feb 19th and also scared about it all. I love my OB- who only sees me 10-15 minutes but is willing to stay and answer any questions I may have. We found out last month we are having a girl- which scares me more because I really want her to have the self confidence and self esteem that I seem to lack at times. Plus I am an over 40's mother. Hope everyone is doing well.

Hi my son i went into labor at 1030am and he was born at 1107 am it was sharp pains but man it went quick which was better there was no time to be given anything. My daughter was premature by a month she must of kicked a hole in the sac because i was just running to the bathroom leaking. Had a lot of back pain and was uncomfortable could not walk around so that didn't help had an epidural big mistake could not feel anything i was like jello. Labor was from 530 pm on nov 22 and on thanksgiving (23) at 085 pm she was born. Iam hoping this one is a repeat of my son but i had no complications but with my daughter i was under stress and i had bladder infection after infection. The best part with my daughter was that I was completly miserable going to the hospital because i kept hearing from my doctor and diettician that I was hurting my baby with high blood sugars and i could not keep it down. So i was pretty bummed till i waddeled to the Elevator and my boyfriend said look honey you are leaving puddles!!! Gotta love men always have good timing!!

My "it' is the size of a walnut now and iam on yahoo as ratuck3 if you want to talk. I know what's it like to be struggling with lack of energy I had no energy with my daughter. That sucks about your car. My ford escort took a dive when I was 6 months pregnent and we didn't have the money to fix it and make payments so I lost it. I know it was only a ford escort. LOL My dad went with me to get that car so i could get a good deal and then two years later he passed. I had more sentimental value but know i have a ford windstar van with everything in it and it's alot more room. Everything works out in the end it just takes time and every thing happens for a reason. yes hard to believe but it does. Hang in there! :-D

Hello again!

Well, lets see i'm 14 weeks?? i think...not sure i lose count. Things are going okay-feeling better most days....i still get that sick feeling at least once every two weeks. yuck! i know of no one in my area that i can relate too--i think that's one of the worst things. This is my first and i'm happy but we just moved here two months before finding out about "IT". So no friends. :( I wanna work-but i'm really lazy right now. I mean i want to clean, and i want to do things and get out but BLAH! lol. It's just easier to sit here. make any since out there? Oh-and no we can't afford it-we are actually about to file bankruptcy. sighs...my car that i've wanted for so long gets turned in this week........the perfect car for a kid. sighs. I know it'll be worth it....but i hate not knowing if it's Aiden or Sara in me. and yes if you can't tell i'm bored. well let me know if anyone wants to chat on a regular basis i'm going a little crazy. Ps...araceli--i wouldn't worry to much about miscarages. The more you worry the more you psych yourself out into having another one. I do wish you the best of luck.....and well-if things are meant to be NOTHING WILL STOP IF FROM HAPPENING>:) Just enjoy it while you can. i know i haven't experienced what you have-but it's some advice i've learned to live by. Best of Luck!

It's ok to be a little weirded out especially with your first. Hopefully you are very happy but the emotions can can be hard. This little person has taken over and now controls your body. It's a big adjustment but you'll be fine.
I am pregnant with my second and even I have days when I'm not sure how I feel. But I know I am excited. Talk to your Dr. if you need to. It helps.

hi i'm also due in feb. on the 27th. This will be our first and I'm worried and excited about everything! I can't wait to find out if our baby is a boy or girl. I'm not showing hardly at all right now, my pants just don't fit comfortably like they did before. somedays i don't feel like i'm pregnant and other days i know because i feel like it. i know i am, i've heard the heart beat already too but some days its hard to believe there really is a baby inside me growing. does anyone else ever feel like that?

They didn't have this test when I had my first child either. They do an ultrasound to measure the thickness of the back of the neck and the back of the skull. Mine was normal. Then they draw blood to look for two other chromosomal abnormalities. I won't know the results for a few more days. But the good news is the first part of the test was normal. So I am very relieved. The ultrasound was really cool though b/c we got to see the baby moving his arms and legs. And the Dr. could tell the sex. I was nervous too but am glad I had it done. You'll be fine.
