I have a 13 mth old too and he hits and plays in the dog food dish so i put him in time out (his walker he still fits in or pack n' play). You just have to consistently put her in time out EVERY time for however long it takes for her to stop whining because shes in there. I know it seems like it doesnt do a thing but make you frustrated but she'll eventually get that you're serious. 13 mth old babies are hard to discipline in general but my son is particularly stubborn and he's been getting put in time out for about a month and he def. rarely does the things he knows not to. Soooo good luck and try to be patient because babies this little just like things with cause/effect she doesnt mean to do it to hurt you, just to see your reaction so dont get mad just tell her time out and put her somewhere for a minute or 2 then continue if she persists! (She could be acting out but just show her love and she'll adjust like every other baby does.) -- Edited by x33exxooticc at 07/31/2008 9:10 PM PDT
