My baby just turned a year and I can see her nap patterns changing. She used do have two naps a day like clock work and now maybe has one.

Maybe your baby is starting to phase out his naps. I know it is quite normal for babies to cut out one nap or stop napping altogether. I have always read that if your baby is still happy and not getting overtired without the naps, they may just not need them as regularly anymore. If he is getting cranky, than he may be getting overtired and not able to settle anymore. If he is happy entertaining himself for a couple hours, and he is safe, maybe that is the best thing for him right now. Just keep listening to your baby, he will let you know what he needs.

no naps, what the heck happened? any advice for back on track?

so for the past 2 years logan has been really awesome about taking naps. once i figured him out, things were great. now all of a sudden last week he didnt nap once and the past days of this week the same. what the heck. i try to do everything the same i always do. but he doesnt go to sleep. instead he screams and cries and fights and twists and stiffens straight. it is awful and annoying. so i just lay him in his bed and tell him i love him and leave. he cries a little then entertains himself for 2 hours. any one have anything to suggest us to get back on track??? thanks katrina
