Hi I have 4 words for you fellow mommy your baby's just rite! not too big not too small perfect I have 3 kids been through just about it all w/ them an weight. I thought mine was on the big side.... who knows... he was 8 months and 20 pounds I believe..... they all slim down when they start really moving...which mine still isn't doing, so I'm just helping him get up on all 4's and trying to get him motivated to crawl ...ugh he's 9 months now. at five months, my daughter was 20 pounds, I thought she was overweight too. She had been gaining a pound every other week. It slowed down a few months later, shes 8 months now and is only 22 pounds. 17 pounds isn't over weight, shes healthy and developing well!

my 5 month old weighs in at about 17 lbs... is she too big? All my friends babies are older then her and weigh less or the same.. i dont want an over weight baby. How much does your babies weigh?
