There are toys you can buy real cheap at walmart that go in the freezer. Binkis are awesome and Tylonol is good. Some people also like cold carrots and celery too. (I'm too afraid to give my son celery.)

The frozen washcloth idea worked great for my little boy at that age, leave a corner dry for your baby to hold onto. We still use Hyland's Teething Tablets too.. they work quite well. When your baby is older and teething, try putting frozen fruit in one of the mesh bag feeders.. like banana, peaches, peeled grapes, etc... But you will have to wait until he is eating with no problems... maybe 8-9 months, just depending on your baby. -- Lora-35, Joe-42 Flynn Joseph, son-born 4-7-07 www.ronpaul2008.com

hi I am currently going through teething w/ my 3rd baby an he loves chewing on a half of a day old bagel he is 8months old an can hold it on his own,w/ my 1st daughter she loved to suck on a frozen wash cloth I had a stack in zip locks in the freezer each cloth was slightly dampened then put in its own zip bag to freeze over night i kept alot in the freezer.lol she was about 7months at the time an i lucked out w the second one my first son Tylenol did it every time but your lil one is probably too young to use Tylenol just yet ask your Dr. I got them there first comforting "lovies" at that time of teething too from AVON,which also helped occupy them when they were uncomfortable check out my site www.youravon.com/dtritschler -- I am the proud mom of 3 wonderful kids

First of all, congratulations on your new baby boy! I always gave Tylenol to my kids when they were teething and it worked great. I would ask your son's dr though b/c he is kind of young. I'm not sure if you can give a baby his age orajel either, but I would ask his dr. It's better to be safe b/c most teething medicines are meant for babies around 5 or 6 months and up. Poor little guy...I hope he feels better soon. -- Darlene Brandon 3 yrs Kaitlyn 17 months
