At two months, my son nursed every 2 hours a day... growth spurt.. his average is normally every 3. That is great that he sleeps through so long already.. what a blessing! To be frank with you, I never was very rigid with a schedule in the beginning. I know many moms agree a schedule makes a baby secure. In our case, I just did whatever he seemed to need. That early on, he went to bed anywhere between 8-10. Now, he will fall asleep at 8:30 every night... occasionally later if wound up or teething. And he sleeps until 7:30.. just like a little rooster, we don't need to set an alarm anymore. I would say in your case, so he's not getting you up at 5 in the morning... put him down at 9, and gradually work it to the 8. As he gets older, he will sleep a little longer. -- Lora-35, Joe-42 Flynn Joseph, son-born 4-7-07 www.ronpaul2008.com

Just wondering what age you would start to put an infant on a 8 00 bedtime routine. My son is 2 months and sleeps 8-9 hours through the night. The only downside to this is that i have to feed him every 2 hours through the day! I am a little unsure what to do.
