I think you should pick a name that you love and stick with it no matter what anyone else opinions say! My mother-in-law and sister-in-law keep making shots at the names we've chosen and saying what they think we should name the baby instead. In hindsight I wish we never divulged our name choices. Really? Who cares if other people hate the name? It's not their child, therefore not their choice. Plain and simple!

Definitely a unique name. Does it go well with your last name? e.g. It would not be a good name if your last name was May or Scott (duh . We also eliminated names that we knew other kids could easily mangle and create "tease" names - we all remember how cruel kids can be right? Honestly, I'm not a fan of the name. It just seems too unique where people will do a doubletake when they hear it. Ultimately, it's your choice and you have to be happy with it. Just remember your baby will have that name forever! -- CPC Take the Baby Quiz at: www.gameswithbaby.com

Hi Christine! 1st of all, congrats on the new baby. 2nd, I am with Nueva mama in that this is your child and no one else's. Personally, I like the name. It's cute and original. Kudos. Ignore your mom. I ignore mine(sometimes ). This is your time to shine. Good luck! -- Sarah - 31 Tanner - hubby - 33 Mollee Elizabeth - 3-24-05 - What if God was one of us?

Hi. My name is Fallon and im also new to the network... Im exspecting in May so anyhow responding to your topic. Does it really matter that much if ppl like ur childs name? If you and your husband feel that this is the name you 2 want then go for it .. it may be my age and shire being so blunt all my life lol but if its the name yall want then use t.. everyone can just hoop onboard or just deal with it in there own time.. but CONGRATZ and the best of luck.

How about Hunter or maybe Harrison Jayden Lucas (Luke) i think the best thing is to see what sounds good together with your last name. My son is Mark Alan our last name is tucker so I wanted it to roll nice I think it just depends on what you like.

First of all, you have to remember that this baby was created by the love between you and your husband....and not by your mom. Although I'm sure your mom means well (as does mine), I do believe she is a little out of line in asking you to change your baby's name....which is beautiful, by the way. The next time she asks you to change it, just say "Mom, thanks for your input, but both me and (husbands name) really love the name we have chosen for our daughter". Good luck!
