WOW.. from day one, my little girl was lifting her head and throwing herself back, and signing for food and wet bum. By 1 month she was talking baby talk.. "AH" means food, "eh" means wet bum, "da" means daddy, and "aye" means hi. She was also waving, standing with help and siting while proped against something, Now she is almost crawling, she can sit strait up while proped and look around, can take steps while being held.. she knows who people are by name, and smiles/laughs on cue or with something funny.. she's only 2 months old.. she's far advanced for her age.. She understands what i'm talking about when i say bath time, change your bum, sleepytime, and i'm comming. She responds accordingly to each one.. stops crying, smiles, gets into the right position..ie, lifting her legs up to change her bum.. nuzzling her bed for sleepy time to get comfy, etc. people don't believe us till we prove it! -- Kaitlyn 1st time mommy Stephen 1st time daddy DofB Feb 4th, 2008

I called my sister one night because my son had woke me up cooing, he was only a week old, she of course did not believe me, so the next night when he was doing it again, i called her cell and left a very long message of him cooing and babbling, made a believer out of her, but it didn't stop there, he rolled over early, started pulling up at 5 months, walked at 9 months, saying words with meaning at one year, and according to the pediatrician, he is functioning at a 18 month level and he is only 13 months, take some advice, foster her independence, encourage her to do whatever she wants, don't listen to ppl who say that it will harm them, babies will not do what they are not ready to do, and good luck to you.. -- Stephanie and Michael Taylor Jerid - 13 months We love our little angel!!

My son impressed me too. From the moment the midwife put him on my chest he would pull his head up to see me. He never liked tummy time so we would sit reclined with him on my chest and by the time he was 2 weeks he would hold his head up for about 15 seconds at a time. By 8 weeks he could sit for a couple of minutes before his neck would need a break. When he was 2 days old he would smile at me (and it wasn't gas) he would also stick his feet straight up in the air and flop to the left or right. My midwife was shocked when she saw that. At 2 months he was laughing. At 3 months he was trying to pull himself up when sitting in his car seat. At 4 months he got tired of his toys (the ones that hang from the handle of his car seat) swinging in his face and eluding his grasp. He figured out that he could put his feet behind it and bring it close enough so that he can grab it and eat it. He is now 5 months old and I love watching him as he continues to amaze me

our baby girl would pull out her paci and push it back in her mouth with her elbow from the time she was born! she also has been holding her bottle with both hands since about 7 weeks although if it is full she doesnt have the strength to hold it up. she is 12 weeks now and can hold it up pretty well now. she has been holding her head up when she is on her belly for 3 weeks or so. I am just amazed at all this and have never seen a baby do these things so early- anyone have stories like these??
