With our first baby, we decided to find out the gender of the baby. We had two ultra sounds, both saying that we were expecting a little girl. Well, they were wrong! We had everything for a girl and had to take it all back to the stores. Luckily, I am not a huge fan of pink and the nursery was a neutral color to begin with. This time around (I am due in February), I really don't want to find out. To be honest, my son was the best surprise I could have ever asked for. But we probably will find out the gender of baby #2 just because my husband is so impatient. But if it were left up to me, I'd have a nice surprise on D-day.

Don't no wont to know what you are having it will be hard to tell ever one you don't wont to know. I think it would eayer to know so you buy what you need. I am having a baby girl

okay so my bf doesnt want me to find out the sex. but i really want to know should i just act like i dont know if i find out alone...oh my gosh that sounds so bad

hi , congrats on yuor pregnancy ! I am at 23 weeks now and yes i did find out . I am having a girl !! I have two stepkids , 15 boy n 12 girl ! we r excited to welcome our daughter in world

My husband and I are expecting our second child. We have decided not to find out the sex. So far for us it has been REALLY fun guessing. the anticipation is amazing! We found out the sex with our first and to be honest? It was way more stressful! You buy all the stuff for one sex but in the back of your mind is "what if they are wrong?" you would be stuck with all that stuff! We decided to avoid this stress and have a pleasant surprise! after all there are very few TRUE surprises in life. And really? Who cares as long as baby is healthy right?
Wondering also if anyone has had people in their family annoyed that they aren't finding out the sex? My sister-in-law AND mother-in-law are irritated because they can't shop for gender specifics. They have even gone as far as telling us that we should have the ultrasound tech write the sex on a piece of paper, put it in an envelope and give it to THEM!!! Can you even believe it? So what then? They are going to know the sex of our baby before us? Does this sound nuts to anyone else? They don't seem to see why we think this is such a mental request! Please click on the post to view my blog!
