we registered at Sears because they have a registry game called the "waiting game". If you have the baby on the exact date you predict, everything on the registry is FREE!!!! My husband's colleague won with BOTH of her children.

Hi Ladies,

I'm new to the boards. I'm due August 14th, and about 23 weeks. I plan on registering at Babies R Us this weekend. Someone also mentioned to me that Amazon.com has a baby registry. I'm thinking about registering there too. I figure Babies R US could be for the locals and older people, and Amazon might be good for all my fireinds who shop online.

yes you can register at jc penny, i did.
but beware registering at target. make sure you gift receipts with every gift because you will end up with a lot of doubles and things you didn't ask for. babys r us was the other i did, never had a problem returning or getting help with the list.

I was drawing a blank of places to register to fit everyone's price range. For my upcoming shower, I want at least two registries, because I know not everyone in my family/friends shops at the same place.

I'm not sure if other people have this dilemma, but I thought it would be nice for us to compile a list of good places to register.
