well things are going to be scary when u find out that u are pregnant but the best thing about it is that u will never be lonely. As far as buying baby stuff before u know the gender there is so many things u can get such as diapers and wipes, bottles the crib comes in so many different colors but never blue and pink so i say go ahead and buy some stuff have fun by yourself while u got the chance cause once the baby comes it will definently be hard.

Howdy! Hubby and I are first-time parents-to-be, expecting 12/26/09! I can't wait to read and share stories in the weeks to come! What preparations have you guys made already? We are going to a parenting class that gives up points after completing a test at the end of the class each week, and these points can be used to buy various stuff in their "store." So far, we have a pack and play, a breast pump, a Baby's First Christmas rattle, and a couple other small things. I'm so ready to pick out nursery stuff and clothes and names...what else is there to do before you find out the gender???

I just decided to kick off this post section. I am a 27 year old single mom of 2 toddlers. I recently found out I am expecting again and my due date is about December 27th, 2009. It is kind of ironic because just a few months ago I got rid of ALL of my baby things other then a handful of keepsake outfits. I moved my 2 year old into a twin bed and a big boy room and totally expunged everything that was "little baby" and now SURPRISE my life has taken a turn. It is a turn that is joyful and happy, scary and sad. I am nervous this pregnancy as I have been in the past because I know the pain that goes with losing a pregnancy. Hopefully things will be perfect and wonderful this time around. Anyone else out there sharing the same boat? -- *Rena* Mommy of 2 Ages 2 and 3 Baby bump on the way December 2009
