We were also done with #4. I was ready but felt sad too. Then in 2007 right after we'd given away all our baby stuff b/c we moved we found out we were pg with #5 lol I admit I had finally settled into the idea of being done and moving on to the next phases of childrearing so I was a bit angry at the idea. But of course now I can't imagine it any other way. She fit into our family perfectly and is the light of it along with the others -- Sarah - Mommy of 5 MOPS International (Mom groups of children under 5) http://www.mops.org/

I HAVE 4------25/23/18/AND 15. My 18 year old, only girl, just had a baby as well. She had a little girl who is most precious to me. So, I basically, have a baby again. I have her quite often. And I love it. I find myself having more patience and not jumping at every cry or even worried about "spoiling" her. She just turned 3 months. It is normal to feel sad. And definitely overwhelmed. I did for awhile. Still wonder what it would be like to go through the pregnancy, which I loved being. And then when I have my grand daughter, it fills that need/sadness. I also remember the joys of all the "firsts". First step, first smile, first tooth, etc. That also helps. You can never get those "firsts" back.
