Hi! My name is Victoria, but i go by torie. im 21 yrs old and pregant with my first child. Its a GIRL and im due on dec 9th. but have been in perterm labor since the beg. of nov 9th. I have lost the plug now just waiting. came on to find new moms and moms that have advice for things.
Trust me when I say it doesn't matter the age of the mother, what matters is the experience. Why would you want advice from another mother just like you,she would need the same advice right?Well I'm 26 pregnant with my second.Anyone can give good advice. As far as choosing what to decide...you have to get all of the information out there and then make your own decision. You have to trust yourself. What works for some doesn't for others.
Hello how are you. I am 23 year old mother of two. And I am pregnant now with my third one. I am about 13 weeks. How many weeks are you.
I'm 27, married and 11 weeks pregnant! First of all you have to remember that a lot of decisions you are trying to make now may not go the way you plan. When I was pregnant with my first daughter I ended up going natural. Although it was painful it was not like you see on T.V. depending on how well you can tolerate pain will depend if you need drugs or not and you won't really know until the time is here!!!!
I had my daughter when I was 18 and when I was pregnant I thought my life was over after she was born and thought nothing would matter but her. It was like that for the first year. Everything revolved around her. But the good thing about this is that you don't mind your life revolving around the baby and you'll be happy doing everything with the new baby!!!but after some time you learn to become yourself again and want to begin doing your own thing every now and then. Everyone is different.
I'm 19 young, but not young enough to have a baby. I got Married in March on my b-day in Ireland as a present. Since my family is Irish. 3 weeks later I realized I had missed my period! I was so nervous and scared. I felt like I was too young. My parents were scarred for me because I was young, but here is the advice I can give you! At 19 I had a job, a car and apartment. I was stable. My husband had a job and car too and we lived together, We were stable. I was freaking because I was afraid I couldn't provide for my baby. But with budgeting and advice from my parents. I was able to realize that this was nothing to be scared about. I haven't had my son yet, but I can give you some advice as far as YOUNG and MARRIED!

Advice number 1: Stock up early
At 6 months me and my husband started buying things for our baby. Every week we took 10 to 20 dollars if we were able to spare and purchase items. We started out buying Diapers and wipes. Then little toys, such as rattles and teething toys. Then bottles and Pacifiers. Be careful not to buy to many bottles and pacifiers, some babies are picky from what I hear. Don't worrying about spending too much, because of showers. But if your like me and on your own and live far away from your parents your kinda on your own!

Advice number 2: Prepare your husband!
If your husband is like mine young and clueless here is the best advice you will get. (My husband is 22.) At 22 weeks my husband made a comment that pretty much told me he has never held a baby, feed a baby, changed a baby! He asked me if he should feed our baby 1 bottle a day or 2. And if he adds water to powder formula or 2 percent milk. I was super scared and almost cried. I thought OMG my husband is going to kill our son! So here is what I did to prepare my husband. I showed him how to clean bottles and make bottles. I bought a cheap baby doll and showed him how to change diapers and bath them. How to strap them in to a car seat. Trust me you will feel better once you put your husband in training!

Hi gals! I have a 26 year old and am now enjoying my one year old! He is awesome. Tried breastfeeding, but no milk production. Must be my "mature" breasts". LOL. I had my daughter at 16 and wish I knew then what i know now. I would have tried breastmilk with her. At least for first few months. It's really hard now with work and everything. Good luck with it. TTYL

Hello I new to this I am a 27 yr old I had my first child 12/27/08 she was born at 26 weeks weighing 1lb.11 oz.. My daughter spent 4 months in the nicu so pumped my breast for milk to feed her, because she took the milk through a feeding tube. Breast milk is the best thing for your baby.now she weighs 14lbs at 9 months is doing great....You sound very mature congrats on your marriage and the best of luck for your preganacy.

yaa he was 6 weeks early and had to stay in the hospital for about a month and now he doesnt look like he was a premie i love him to death is my little angle
hey im a young mom to it aint all that bad i wouldn't take anything for my little boy
Congrats!!!! I had my first Little Boy at the age of 17and I am now 22, he is now 4, I have a 6 yr old step-daughter and a 6 1/2 month old Baby Girl, I BreastFed Both of my kids my son for almost a year, he wouldnt take a bottle, and my daughter for a little over 2 months, she was a champ taking the bottle and was tottaly off and on to the bottle day and night in 3 days. I would definatly recommend breastfeeding if you have the time and patience to they say breastfed babies have a higher IQ and my son has proved that, he so smart. The only down side of Breastfeeding at our age it kinda stinks because your breast will never be the same. My fiance and I have been together for 6 yr. in November. I wish you lots of luck and If you need some one to talk to I am all ears. I am a stay at home mom and My little boy Just started Pre-K so I have alittle more time then I used to.

Hi my name is Kam. I'm 20 and I just had a girl 2 months ago...It was awesome. We're young but the best experience of my life. I had an emergency c-section but just the fact that this little being come out of my body and entered this atmosphere was the coolest thing. i'm breastfeeding my baby and i beleive it's the best gift I have given her. She was born under weight at 5lbs 9 oz and she is allready 11 pounds. She's also so advance and strong for her age. Feel free to talk back...I'm just dying to talk to someone. Being at home with a baby all day...Welcome to Mommyhood!
