Just thought I'd introduce myself a bit here.

I'm 23 years old (Almost 24) and currently attending school. I'm going for my bakery and pastry certificate with the hopes of having my own business (or at least having fun working for someone else!) eventually. This is my first pregnancy. My due date has been back and forth between the 23rd and 25th of May. I found out I'm probably having a girl but it was hard to get a clear view because she wouldn't uncross her legs. So if she is indeed a girl, she's already stubborn like her mother but at least she's lady-like! This was completely unexpected, but a blessing in more than one way. Becoming parents was apparently the push my husband and I needed to look at our life together and decide what we have to offer isn't good enough for our child. He's going to school as well so we can give our baby the life she deserves.

On my side of the family, she will be the first grandchild so my parents are excited now they are over the initial shock. Both our families have been exceptionally helpful and supportive and I don't know where I'd be without them. I'd love to get to know some of those who are close to my due date and welcome any advice from those of you who have been through this before.
