Three of my children began teething at six months, but one cut his first tooth at three months! The bump on your son's gums could be a "Blister" from the way he sucks. It will probably disapear as suddenly as it showed up. Of course, if it is still there at his next check-up, mention it to his pediatrician. Congratulations to you on your baby boy!
